- 21And she will give birth to a son, and you shall call his name Jesus. For he will save his people from their sins.
- 22Now all this was done so that what the Lord spoke through the prophet might be fulfilled, saying,
- 23A virgin shall be pregnant, and will give birth to a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which means, God with us.
- 24Then Joseph, being raised from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord had told him, and took her as his wife.
- 25And he did not have marital relations with her until she had given birth to her firstborn son. And he called his name Jesus.
