KJV Sources and Original-Language Review
Editorial article: This study material is separate from the translated Scripture text.
English Base
The current pipeline reads the bundled KJV text in the later 1769 tradition, then applies documented modernization rules and verse-specific editorial decisions.
Textual Tradition
The edition retains the KJV's verse coverage and broadly follows its Masoretic and received Greek textual tradition. It does not yet have a complete, versioned Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek alignment for every verse.
Contextual Review
Words, grammar, literary form, and the surrounding passage must be considered together. A concordance entry alone does not authorize a translation.
Current Focus
All 66 Protestant books are in the reader. Source-language review of every verse remains in progress.
What the Checks Establish
Automated checks compare verse coverage, manuscript and reader text, reproducibility, and selected wording risks. They do not establish complete source-language verification.
Study Entries
Reader tooltips are general English-matched study notes. They do not identify the original word in every occurrence.
Independent Wording
The drafting policy uses the KJV and documented language evidence, without treating modern copyrighted translations as templates. Historical provenance and rights questions must be supported by records.
Review is ongoing. A reproducible text and a limited phrase scan are useful checks, but neither is a certificate of translation accuracy or legal clearance.
